Chasing Perseid

Finding a dark corner of Dartmoor to observe a Perseid meteor shower was the objective of cadets and staff from 2328 (Bishops Cleeve) Squadron. The group headed out into the moor and wild camped to get a view of the meteor shower in a night sky unaffected by artificial lights. The exercise was also good training for Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions.
