On 14 February 2014 forty four cadets from the Wing set out for Bavaria to take part in Exercise Alpine Adventure.
Organised by Bristol and Gloucestershire each year since 1997, Alpine Adventure is the Royal Air Force Air Cadets largest alpine ski training exercise. In 2014, a Winter Olympic Games year, 96 cadets from across the South West Region took part in an exciting week learning to ski in Germany under the guidance of qualified ATC instructors.
