Duke of Edinburgh award expeditions
Twenty six cadets from ten different units from Bristol and Gloucestershire Wing completed expeditions over the weekend as part of their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Teams of cadets set out from Painswick and walked to Moreton Valence where they camped overnight. On Sunday the teams walked to Robinswood Hill at Gloucester where they enjoyed spectacular views over the Cotswolds and Severn Valley. The weekend, organised by FL Richard Jennings of 2328 (Bishops Cleeve) Squadron was a great success with some of the cadets completing qualifying expeditions and as a consequence nearing completion of their Bronze Awards.
