Seven staff and five cadets from eight different units recently qualified as Heartstart instructors after a course run at 2002 (Kingswood) Squadron. They can train cadets and staff in basic lifesaving techniques using equipment loaned by the British Heart Foundation. Heartstart is a ‘hands on’ course that is extremely popular with cadets. Several cadets from the Wing employed first aid skills they learned with the ATC to save lives. Our aim is equip all cadets and all staff with these vital skills.
