Increasing our capability to save lives

Nine staff and four cadets successfully achieved their St John Ambulance Activity First Aid qualification after completing an intensive two day course at 2002 (Kingswood) Squadron. They can now train and assess cadets on Youth First Aid courses. 

Four staff and three cadets also completed a one day AED course and now know how to save lives using this increasingly available equipment.

 

First aid is a core part of the training syllabus. Several cadets and staff have employed the skills they learned on an ATC course to respond to an emergency.
