On a warm, sunny Sunday in Cheltenham over 150 cadets gathered to show their support for the Wing by actively representing their squadrons at Bristol and Gloucestershire’s Wing Athletics Tournament at Prince of Wales’ Stadium.

One cadet was heard to say to another “isn’t it brilliant we can get together like this”.

93 (City of Bath) Squadron won every trophy.  They were present in every event in their bright yellow t shirts.

The athletes, and their sportsmanship, were outstanding.  They were an inspiration to the staff who witnessed some of their remarkable achievements.

The Wing Sports Officer, Squadron Leader Andrew Slater, thanked all those who helped and took part before presenting the trophies at the end of the day.
